We've been asked, "What's a mercantile?" A mercantile relates to merchants.
So, what are we? We are a gift shop that sells handcrafted gifts from local artists, craftsmen, and crafters. We have new and vintage items as well.
We love to have gifts for everyone on your list, so some of our specialty areas include, but are not limited to, a 'Man Cave' that specializes in gifts for men, a 'Kiddie Corral" for gifts for the kids, and the 'Knick-Knack Paddock' with lovely gifts for her.
Consignment and Hand Crafted - We love carrying handcrafted items made by our local artists here on the mountain, from The Jam Lady's Jams to Russell's flint knapped arrowheads, to Susan's hand-sewn leather goods, to multiple jewelry makers and bath and beauty soaps and lotions. They are all awesome.
Grocery - We have select shelf-stable grocery items. Most of them focus on gluten-free, soy-free, paleo-friendly, and keto-friendly. Most of the items we carry are not found elsewhere in Anza or Aguanga. Come on in and if you don't see an item that you have to head off the hill for, we have a request sheet so that we can check with our supplier.
Shipping - We offer shipping services to meet most needs. We are an authorized shipping center for FedEx Ground/Home, FedEx Express, UPS (All services), DHL (International), USPS, and Freight. We can help you package up your shipment and we will try to find the least expensive price for you.
Postal - We also have private mailboxes (PMB). Because a PMB is considered a street address, NOT a post office box, you can have packages delivered without fear of porch pirates. In addition, since we are open 7 days a week, you can pick up your mail and/or packages any time we are open.
U-Haul - We are 1 of 3 U-Haul dealers up here on the mountain. We are pleased to be able to offer a way for you to complete your move, get horse panels, or do dump runs.
